The problem at climbing walls

01

The desk queue

Peak time, ten people waiting to check in, and someone at the front wants a £4 chalk ball.

02

Thin evening staffing

Late sessions with one member of staff on the floor and nobody at the till.

03

Impulse buys walk out

Tape, chalk and skin care are pure impulse. If they are behind a queue, they do not sell.

04

Day passes and top-ups

Regulars topping up passes at the desk when they could tap and climb.

What we stock

A climbing planogram built around impulse buys and recovery. Brands shown on screen are illustrative, not partners. No high-caffeine energy drinks; the machines ship 2027-ready.

Every climbing planogram is agreed with the club before install, then tuned from sales data. The club side of the machine (fees, check in, sign ups) sits on the same screen as the stock.

Climbing wall questions

Will it take custom away from the desk?

It takes the queue away from the desk. Staff belay-check and coach; chalk sells itself.

Does it work with Rock Gym Pro?

The Rock Gym Pro integration is in development. Until it is live we describe it honestly as in development.

Can it top up day passes?

Once the venue system is connected. Until then it sells kit and fuel.

Where does it go?

By the entrance or at the base of the wall, indoors, on a standard socket with 4G or wifi.

Who restocks it?

On the fully managed model, we do. Remote telemetry tells us stock levels, sales and faults.

What does it cost?

Depends on the model: fully managed revenue share, lease or purchase. No prices are published until approved.
